Mohanlal to sing a song in Oru Naal Varum

Universal star Mohanlal's new Malayalam film, Oru Naal Varum has started its shooting in Thiruvananthapuram. Well known director T K Rajeev Kumar is directing this film, which will bring Mohanlal back again as a common man. Script of this film was written by Sreenivasan.

Bollywood beauty Sameera Reddy is the heroine of Mohanlal in this film. This film will feature Mohanlal as Kulapulli Sukumaran, who wishes to make a house of his own in the heart of the city and the problems faced by him in the course to fulfil his dream. Besides penning the script, Sreenivasan plays the role of a corrupt Govt Officer in this film.

Though the duo of Sreenivasan and Mohanlal was seen in the recent film Ividam Swargamanu, it is after a long gap that Mohanlal is acting in a film scripted by Sreenivasan. Their previous outing was the superhit Udayananu Tharam, in 2004. Let's hope, just like their previous films, this one too will get well recieved by the Malayalee audiences.

The other notable thing related with this film is that Mohanlal is going to sing a song for it, which have been penned by the young poet Murukan Kattakkada. The music of the film is by renowned playback singer M G Sreekumar. Most of the songs crooned by Mohanlal were hits, out of which the last one was in Bhramaram.
