It is now confirmed that Tamil star Surya won't act with our Universal star Mohanlal in the upcoming film Kandhahar. It was recently heard that Surya was no longer interested to act in Kandhahar, because a similar film with a hijacking theme was being made in Tamil.
The big budget film that also features Amitabh bachchan in it will feature another Tamil actor, Arun Vijay on for the role offered to Surya. Arun Vijay is a promising young star in Tamil films who has been seen in several films. This film is going to be a major career break for Arun Vijay, as it would qualify as the biggest film that he has associated himself with till now.
