Christian Brothers is the latest malayalam movie to be directed by Joshy. Starring Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, and Dileep, Christian Brothers will scheduled as a March 2010 release.

The film has ‘Universal Star’ Mohanlal playing Godfather type of character along with Suresh Gopi and Dileep playing his brothers. Kavya Madhavan will be making a comeback to Malayalam films as Mohanlal’s heroine along with Padmapriya who will do his sister’s role.

Christian Brothers is produced by ‘Medimix’ Anoop and Subair. The shoot of the film will start by Next Month in Kochi. The entire film will be shot in one single schedule and the film is likely to release in the last week of March for the summer holidays.

Mohanlal as Lorry Driver Balaraman in Latest movie Shikaar

Mohanlal, Malayalam's Universal Star is all set for his new movie Shikaar. The movie story is similar to that of Bhramaram. The new Malayalam Movie Shikaar is all about the deep relation of a father and daughter. Mohahlal plays the role of the father named Balaraman in the film. Naadodigal fame Ananya is cast as the daughter.

M Padmakumar, the director said that the movie is a revenge story that happens in the life of a working class. S Suresh Babu is the script writer. Other casts in the film includes Jagathy, Mukesh, Nanditha Das, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Thalaivasal Vijay and Suraj Venjaaramoodu. The Pooja of the film was held in Kochi last week and the shoot is proposed to start by the first week of March.

Mohanlal Movie 'Ivide Swargam Aanu' Photos,stills, wallpapers, photogallery

'Ivide Swargam Aanu' is the latest malayalam movie featuring Mohanlal as a Farmer. The movie once again brings back the hit son-father combination of Mohanlal and Thilakan. The movie has three heroines - Priyanka nair, Lakshmi Rai, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy. Mohanlal is playing the role of Achayan named mathukutty.

Also in key roles are Laloo Aalex, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Sukumari, Innocent, Jagathy Sreekumar, Ashokan, Manianpillai Raju, Shobha Mohan, Geetha Vijayan etc. Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri pens the lyrics that are set to tune by Mohan Sithara. The film will be brought to the theatres by Max Lab Entertainments.

Mohanlal’s Vismayas Max film bags award

Mohanlal’s Vismayas Max Animation Studio has won yet another honour. One of the films in the Emposho animation series made by the production team of Vismayas has won the award for the best animation film for children in the second Kerala State Children’s Educational Film Festival which concluded in Kollam the other day.

The Emposho series is based on Chinese Zen stories and the film ‘Who Needs A Master’ in the series won the award. It tells about a student who is found stealing and is going to be thrown out of the school by other students. But a teacher intervenes and advises that such persons should be shown the right path through proper education and guidance.

The award was received by Deepak Sivarajan, associate director, on behalf of Vismayas.
