Mohanlal's Red Chillies started well

Superstar Mohanlal's first release of the year 2009, Red Chillies reached theatres today, on Valentine's Day. One of the most successful director with Mohanlal, Shaji Kailas is the director of this flick while A K Sajan has penned the script for it. This highly technical film was produced by Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra films and will be distributed by Vaishaka release.

The film which is said to be a racy edge of the seat thriller was released all over Kerala in about 65 screens. The film is all about a murder mystery revolving around a gang of nine Radio Jockeys who were working for OMR (Mohanlal) an NRI businessman settled in the Gulf and running his own radio station in Kochi.

According to the initial reports, the film have fetched mind blowing initial collections and the fans as well as the neutral audiences have given thumbs up to this Mohanlal starrer. Trade analysts have already commented that this new film Red Chillies, will surely end up as a profit maker and will be the first hit of the year 2009.
