Bollywood star Sunil Shetty seems to be the new addition to the big budget flick 'Kandahaar' based on Kandahaar flight hijack. Directed by Major Ravi, the movie was in the news for it multi-starred casting and actors walking in and out of the film’s cast lines. As of now Mohanlal will lead the show with Big B Amitabh Bachchan confirming himself to play a pivotal role in the movie.
Popular Tamil superstar Suriya was originally approached for this role, which the actor agreed to in its initial stages. But later, Suriya found it tough to earmark the needed days for the movie and opted out. Then, there were talks about many other young stars to fill in this role of a commando. But now the latest reports suggest that Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, who maintains a good rapport with Priyan, Major Ravi and Lal will be doing the role. Sunil Shetty had earlier been to Mollywood, playing a short role and song for the Priyadarshan movie 'Kaakakuyil'.
