Mohanlal as a Ghazal singer in 'Sneham + Ishtam = Amma'

It was earlier reported that our beloved Mohanlal will do an extended cameo in the upcoming Malayalam film 'Sneham + Ishtam = Amma'. As per the current reports, shooting for this new film started at the capital city and Mohanlal will join the set by the end of this month. It's also heard that Mohanlal will have about 3-4 days of shooting for this film.

This new Malayalam movie 'Sneham + Ishtam = Amma', which is all about the deep bonding and love between a mother and son will have Shaheen, a model who has featured in a few music albums as it's hero. Also Revathy is making a comeback to Malayalam cinema after a while and she will play Shaheen's mother in this film.

Mohanlal has agreed to play a lengthy cameo role as a Ghazal singer in this film mainly due to it's director Jayachandran, who is debuting through this film and also was a former associate of late director Bharathan. Other main highlight of this film happens to be Oscar winner Resul Pookutty's acting debut through this film, which also has Vandana and 'Traffic' fame Namitha as heroines.

It also marks the return of the hit pair, Mohanlal-Revathy, and eveyone knows the fact that the pair was well recieved in yesteryear hit films like Kilukkam, Varavelpu, Devasuram, Maayamayooram etc. They were last seen together in the movie Ravanaprabhu. MG Sreekumar and Sajeevan are the music directors of the film produced by Bharath Samuel under the banner of Bharath Creations.
