There is a rumor spreading that the distributors of Mohanlal's upcoming two films, Kandahar and Christian Brothers are having a strong misunderstanding between them regarding the releasing dates of each film. As per some close sources, Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirwad release and Subair of Varnachitra release are planning to release their respective Mohanlal films within a short period of time.
It's hearing that Christian Brothers, distributed by Varnachitra release will grace the theaters by this November 26th and also Aashirwad release is planning to release their Mohanlal starer Kandahar by December 9th. If this happens, then it will affect both these Mohanlal movies seriously and will cause a severe loss not only to it's producers but also to the entire Malayalam film industry.
The problem started when the multi starer Christian Brothers was not able to keep up it's word regarding the releasing date and was further shifted to this new releasing date. Mohanlal's Major Ravi directed Kandahar was fixed as a Dec 9th release from the start of it's shooting itself and now Subair, the producer of Christian Brothers is getting ready to release the film by this Nov 26th.
Talks are going on between these two to solve the issue and as a truce it's now hearing that Christian Brothers may release as per the new releasing date and kandahar may get shifted to this Christmas. Also it's hearing that Kandahar will release by Dec 9th and Christian Brothers may get shifted to the next year.
A final decision will be taken, once our God's own Superstar Mohanlal comes back here after his Dubai schedule of Casanova. Here, we can do nothing and let's simply wait for the upcoming Mohanlal movie, either if it is Christian Brothers or kandahar.
