It was earlier reported that there is an issue between the distributors of upcoming two Mohanlal films, Kandahar and Christian Brothers over the issue of the releasing dates of both the films. As per the latest reports, the problem has now been solved.
It's now official that Universal star Mohanlal's next quick release will be Kandahar on Dec 9th. This high profile action film, directed by Major Ravi (Keerthichakra and Kurukshetra fame) also features the Shehanshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan in a Malayalam film for the very first time. This new Mohanlal starer was produced by Sunil Nair and Suchithra Mohanlal under the banners Se Estab Movies & Pranavam International and distributed by Aashirwad release through Maxlaab.
Also the other Mohanlal film, Christian Brothers, which is a multi starer, directed by veteran Joshy will now only release by the start of next year. As per the reports, this new Malayalam film Christian Brothers will get released on Jan 14th, 2011 and this new releasing date was made public by none other than it's producer as well as distributor, Varnachitra Subair.
Now, with the problem regarding the releasing of both these films has been solved, everyone from both the inside and outside of the Malayalam film industry can just relax and wait for the power packed performance of our lalettan in both these films..
