One of Mohanlal's yesteryear hit film to have a sequel

The latest to hear about our Universal star Mohanlal is that he may act in yet another sequel that too for his yesteryear hit Ninnishtam Ennishtam. This film, that released in the mid eighties was directed by Aleppey Ashraf and featured Mohanlal, Mukesh, Sreenivasan and lot others in the lead.

The script for this sequel will be handled by Rajiv, the brother of director Renjith. The other notable thing is that almost all the cast of the original hit will also come up in the sequel. The missing of the actor Late Pappu, will be compensated by Suraj Venjaramoodu, who will play the son of the character played by the actor in the original.

The director Aleppey Ashraf is planning to cast a couple of fresh faces in the lead roles, apart from the senior artists, who were featured in the original. It is also hearing that the original songs by Mankombu and Kanoor Rajan will be remixed for the new movie. It is not yet confirmed that Mohanlal will act in this film, but talks are going on.
