Suresh Gopi and Mohanlal are together again in debutant director Sanjiv N.R’s new untitled thriller. The shoot of the film has started in Neyatinkara. Suresh Gopi plays a villager Viswanathan, a family man married to Nirmala played by Kaveri and is the father of a college going girl played by newcomer Priya.
His best friends in the film are played by Biju Menon and Harisri Asokan. Due to certain circumstances Suresh Gopi and his friends get involved in a murder, and they are on the run. The friends can be saved only by one man- Advocate DevaduttaNarasimhan, played by Mohanlal!
In the film Mohanlal makes a 20 minute cameo appearance as the brilliant criminal lawyer. Can Lal save Gopi and friends from the hangman’s noose, is what the climax of the film is about?The film has been written by veteran script writer S.N Swamy, and is said to be a “family crime thriller”. The others in the cast are Tamil villain Sampath, Vijayaraghavan, Ganesh Kumar, Vijayakumar, Jyothirmayi, Ranjita Menon etc.
The film produced by Arun is being distributed by Maxlab Films.
