Mohanlal's Tamil film 'Unnai Pol Oruvan'

Ulaka Nayakan Kamal Hassan and Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal starrer upcoming Tamil film, Unnai Pol Oruvan is currently progressing at Ramoji Rao Film City at Hyderabad. The major highlight of the film is not only that two of the living legends in Indian Cinema is coming together but also that this new film will mark Kamal Hassan's 50 fabulous years in film industry.

Today, the official launching of the film was held at Chennai and the function was attended by none other than the lead pairs of the film, Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal. This new Tamil film is the remake of the last year's Hindi classic, A Wednesday and it will be produced by Kamal Hassan’s Rajkamal Film International in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures.

This new Tamil film, Unnai Pol Oruvan will be directed by one of Kamal's closest friend, Chakri. One of the major highlights of the movie will be that Kamal's daughter Shruti Hassan is composing the music for this film and also, this new Tamil film will be the first Indian film to be shot with RED cameras in 4K resolutions.

The other major technicians behind the film are Manoj Soni from Mumbai (Cinematography), Thotta Tharini (Art direction), Murugan (dialogues) and Manushaputhran (lyrics). The film will get finished by the end of May and the makers are hoping to release the movie by the month of July. It is also hearing that the makers might release the film on August 12, the day when Kalathur Kannamma, Kamal's first film was released, ie about 50 year's back.
