Mohanlal's Casanova landed in trouble

Superstar Mohanlal's highly anticipated film Casanova is now put off due to some severe problems. Casanova, a big budget film of around Rs 10 crores, was to be directed by Roshan Andrews. The script of the movie was handled by Bobby and Sanjay. The film was to be produced by Confident Group.

The film which was to start rolling in Vienna in the first week of April was delayed for a short while due to some delay in Visa formalities. After finishing the formalities, the film was all set to start but now a much severe delay has occured. It's heard that Confident Group, the producer's of this new film have backed out of the project and would no longer be producing the film.

Casanova, that will feature Superstar Mohanlal as a rich businessman in Europe was scheduled to be Mohanlal's this year's Onam release, but with the current obstacles this film may not be able to make it by that time. Apart from Mohanlal, this film also features Lakshmi Rai, Bhavana, Priyanka Nair (Veyyil fame), and Tamil star Arya in key roles.

According to the Casanova team, this new Mohanlal starrer will start rolling by the third week of May, but it is to be seen whether it happens or not.
