Shikkar is the upcoming latest malayalam film which is confirmed to release on Sept 9. Mohanlal plays Balaraman, a lorry driver, in M Padmakumar's 'Shikar'. The film is the story of an unusual revenge undertaken by a wounded father. Sneha is the female lead.
Ananya of 'Nadodigal' fame plays Mohanlal's onscreen daughter and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, his wife. Samuthirakani, famous actor-director in Kollywood, plays a negative role which is as important as Mohanlal's character. Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Lalu Alex, Sadiq, Appa Haja and Suraj Venjaramood play other pivotal roles in the movie.
