Mohanlal soon to be directed by Samuthirakani

While Mohanlal's Shikkar is running successfully, he is now been offered a new film by his fellow actor in Shikkar, Samuthirakani. Samuthirakani is a popular director as well as an actor from the Tamil film industry. He was there in the film Shikkar with a short cameo of an Andra naxalite and was very impressive with that role.

Samuthirakani is much popular among the Kerala audience with his villian role in the blockbuster movie Subramaniapuram and with his debut film as a director, Naadodigal. He is now all set to direct a new Tamil film with his favourite hero Sasikumar in the lead. This film will kick start within a short period and only after that he will start his debut Malayalam venture with our Universal star Mohanlal in the lead.

Samuthirakani was very much impressed with the acting of our Mohanlal and as a result he expressed his desire to make a film with him in the lead. According to some close sources, it's hearing that Mohanlal had given permission to Samuthirakani to go ahead with the script. It's also hearing that Samuthirakani will take the aid of a famous Malayalam scriptwriter to compose his Malayalam dialogues.

Let's hope, just like Shikkar, this film too went on to become a notable hit in the history of Malayalam film industry..
